Michael Fakesch, one half of German electronic duo Funkstorung. A group
responsible for a unique blend of glitch tek, hip hop, electronic groove, that
has seen the likes of Bjork, Lamb, Radiohead, Towa Tei and The Wu-Tang Clan
remixed into experimental-audio-sensation.

The new, yet unnamed,
Funkstorung album, scheduled for release in February 2004, is offering new
sounds, styles, collaborations and a healthy collection of visual art, DVD
motion clips and design. The “Isolation Remixes” is a visual project for all
creative people. Painters, illustrators, stencil cutters, graffiti writers,
graphix heads, designers and the like are invited to remix from a selection of
photographic images by Australian photographer Mark McPherson, that are
available online. The final selection will be included in an art book that will
accompany the new Funkstorung Album. For more information visit:

The project
commenced May 01 and will be open for submissions until October 01,2003.”
