D*Face’s Report from London’s Finders Keepers 2
“We had an amazing turn out,
over 15 artists showed work and easily 200 people turned up to view and if lucky
go home with a piece! We would just like to say a big thankyou to all artists
involved in Fridays FK02, it was y’all that made this the biggest and most
creative event we the FKC have ever attended. THANKYOU for your hard work, good
spirit and generosity!
However!!
Future Finders Keepers
events are in jeopardy. Please dont attend the FK events if it is your intention
on turning up and trashing the area with tags. If this is your intention please
keep it from the Finders Keepers events. We don’t condone tagging, just that
there’s a time and a place and this is neither. These events are about leaving
without trace, not leaving the area covered with clear signposts of whats gone
on. The whole reason for Finders Keepers artists to paint on found trash is so
that it can be taken without damaging it’s surroundings. These events are
intended to not directly effect the environment in a permanent way.
/>Peace.
Think before you ink.
FKC”
