DAve’s Street Styles

For years, one of our favorite sticker artists has been DAve in San Francisco.  Each and every sticker DAve makes (and he’s made thousands and thousands of them) is done by hand, and while the images are extremely simple in nature, they always make us smile and feel better.

We were thrilled to hear that DAVe has recently launched, Street Styles, an after-school arts workshop that Dave teaches to middle-school and high school students in San Francisco.  Street Styles teaches students how to develop their artistic abilities as well as become visual thinkers using street art and graffiti techniques, styles, and history as an inspiration and instructional tool.

Street Styles (which is sponsored by Youth Speaks) has secured non-profit status and is seeking donations -  cash donations, art supplies and samples of artwork.
