Damion’s Fundraiser In Brooklyn - Contributions Needed
From our friend Damion Silver:
/>
“Hello Friends, Family and Artists,
As we all know, a
great disaster has struck Southeast Asia and many lives have been destroyed.
For the past week I have been thinking of a way to try and make a small
difference and contribute to the cause.
Myself and the store Halcyon
in Dumbo Brooklyn are going to put on a fundraising show. Halcyon has donated
their wall space to allow us to put together a show which will go up this
February. 100% of the proceeds will go to Tsunami disaster relief funds.
This is where we need your help!!!
We are looking for artists
to contribute a small piece or two to the show. Paintings, photographs,
drawings and so on. The only requirement is that they must be ready to hang.
All work will be sold for 100 dollars. This price can be set by the artist.
Mind you, the goal is to sell everything!
We all feel that this is
a great way for anyone to get involved and contribute to such a needy cause.
Anything you contribute will be much appreciated.
Please feel free
to contact me if you have any questions and I will get back to you as soon as
possible.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to making this
a great show.
