DA! - The A’s to Our Q’s:

Wooster: How did you get started in
creating art for the street?

DA!: Back in 7th
grade a friend of mine showed me a graff magazine. from then on i started
learning graffiti and did it thru high school. after a while i wanted to check
out a new style of street art by expressing thoughts and styles thru
wheatpasting posters. Thats when I started my propaganda movement called DA!
which resulted in designing posters, stickers and what not.

/>Wooster: What other street artists do you most admire and
why?

src="http://www.woostercollective.com/images/NEWEDALISTICKERS.jpg" align= "left"
width= "120">DA!: Oh the list could go on and on.  I admire
local street artists who influence my work. People like href="http://www.obeygiant.com">Shep Fairey had a big part in helping me get
to where i am today.  I also admire a kid named href="http://www.visualsubmission.com">Submit, Peat, Kinsey, Dave Choe,
Urban Medium and Chris Silva.  Would definitly love to do a collab someday with
them all.

Wooster: What’s your favorite city,
neighborhood, or block, to post and/or to see street art?

/>DA!:  I gotta say Los Angeles.  I really love posting on busy
ass streets like Sunset, La Brea and Melrose.  Venice is an awsome place to.
/>
Wooster: What inspires you now?

/>DA!:  Anything and everything.  People’s emotions, light
poles, trashcans, friends, colors, animals and psychology.

/>Wooster: What are you currently working on?  Can you give us
a sneak peek?  Well i am currently workin on some new stuff for the href="http://www.dapropaganda.cjb.net">DA! campeign so keep an eye out.  I
also am workin on a character project called href="http://www.porlamancha.com">La Mancha which will be up and running
very very soon.  Around September my clothing line ARISE APPAREL is goin to be
released but until then its gonna have to be a surprise.  I would like to do
more murals and collaborations with fellow street artists.  Who knows
