been following the International scene, then you know Crackrock Betamaxxx’s
work. His Nancy Reagan sticker is still one of our all time favorites.  We asked
Crackrock Betamaxxx our five Q’s. But before we get to that, here’s an intro:

year old cell phone 10 german euros and a letter from the government ordering me
to pay my debts

it?: create more and plan less

How did you get started in creating art for the street?

/>Batamaxx: through a fake letter we sent to a local art institution
claiming we were a art collective that they needed to have in their
exxxhibition.. after they accepted us…  thinking we where the best thing since
paula abdul on pcp .. we took their budget and printed 5000 2 color stickers and
2 times 2000 posters

Wooster: What other street artists do you
most admire and why?

Batamaxx:  we admire our friends and
collaborates and everyone out there doing their own thing no matter what.. we
admire no_one who sellls out their sheeet to the devilll and we admire gods, and
people from outerspace

Wooster: What’s your favorite city,
neighborhood, or block, to post and/or to see street art?

/>Batamaxx:  we love to do & see stuff from alll around the globe.. our
favourite city has to be eindhoven alllthough, nyc, rotterdam, berlin, london,
tokyo, oeteldonck, and kaapstad amongst others… get a lot a love

/>Wooster: What inspires you now?

Batamaxx:  - love ,,
fly_girls ,, having no money ,, wack shit ,, sies ,, fake ideas ,, nice people &
hiphop , etc

Wooster: What are you currently working on?  Can
you give us a sneak peek?

Batamaxx:  we are working on a
exxxhibition in september where our visitors can print their own posters and
stickers plus can read stuff about being a real creative urban terrorist and
shoot shoot shit upp they dont like .. nexxxt to that we got the betamaxxx
texxxt balloons and the punkassbeeeeotch midget golf tiles which need to get
uppp asap , some stickers , a betamaxxx rolexxx watch prototype & a t-shirt line
that is out for spring 2003
