Costa Mesa | November 27 | Apocalypse Now

Apocalypse Now
polltically inspired prints

The tradition of poster art being used as a medium of protest/activism is a long and rich one. Artists/designers for decades have been using posters to voice the opinions of the masses. Issue H of Beautiful/Decay focuses on artists and designers who work in the political/activist realm voicing their opinions via their medium. To go with the release of Issue: H, B/D has teamed up with Subject Matter gallery to show the work of 14 artists in the form of Activist Poster art.

* 100% of the profits from this show will go to the Charity Food Not Bombs they are a amazing organization that actually gets things done. What they do is simple, they feed good food to homeless people all over the world. FNB is one of the only organizations that actually takes all of the money it gets and puts it direct use.
