Catching Up With… Shok1

SHOK1 EXPO IN ZURICH

SHOK1 just completed two large
installations at the famous Rote Fabrik cultural centrum in Zurich, Switzerland.
One room is dedicated to his EgoTypes project and the other is themed around
SHOK1NG PINK! (project websites: href="http://www.egotypes.com">www.egotypes.com and href="http://www.shok1ngpink.com">www.shok1ngpink.com). The works were
completed during a one week residency and are expected to be shown for a minimum
of 10 years. See attached images for a preview of some of the works.

/>TWO SHOK1 EXHIBITIONS COMING IN JULY

“Ill Communications” is the
title of a forthcoming show in Manchester’s prestigious URBIS gallery. Featuring
major artists from around the world, SHOK1 will be the only UK artist
representing at the show. It runs from 29th August - 16th September.

/>“The A+I Exhibition 2004” will run from July 22nd - 25th at the Business
Design Centre in Islington, London. This well-known event is the busiest show at
the venue each year. SHOK1 has been invited to exhibit at the show and will have
a seperate exhibition area with new works to check out and purchase.

/>LIMITED EDITION SHOK1NG PINK! PRINTS

The first set of limited
edition prints are currently under production and are expected to become
available before the summer. Featuring his trademark punk characters and STAYING
POWER! themes, the prints will be available via href="http://www.shok1ngpink.com">www.shok1ngpink.com and selected retailers
worldwide.
