down here in Brighton. British sea side towns are not the nicest of places in
the winter time. So me thought i’d send you some flicks of recent work… “of
all the trees to climb, she had to go climb mine” and “New England Story” are
part of Scrawl Collective show being held at
href="http://www.thelab101.com">Lab 101 in LA, which was put together by the
lovelly people from WORKHORSE… “Instant Love Rat” was one of my contibutions
to a Tenugui Project
(Tenugui is the tradional japanease craft of printed towels). Organised by
href="http://www.goback2d.com/">GO Back 2D which is a group of Japanese and
British artists (myself, Pete Fowler, Shin, Tak, Chris Dury, imai toons, baku
and lucy maclaughlan) the show began in Magma London, then to Project 101 in
Paris, next beat 13 in birmingham then off to Tokyo…so catch it if you can.
And finally thats me selling fridges to eskimos and paintin in the crazy new
Selfridge’s store in birmingham, big love to Adam for hookin me up with that
one. big love matt”
