These are 2 of my more recent pieces. the top one is your standard graff piece.
The bottom one is a new idea I’ve been working on which makes the piece
literally come out of the wall. The one pictured is made from polystyrene foam
with a photocopied collage glued to the front surface and then the whole lot
stuck to the wall with liquid nails. I’m working on another one at the moment
which is more sculptural and focuses on how light effects the piece at different
times during the day.

This is my most recent stencil and is based on one of the characters from TRON.
Pretty self explanatory.

These are a couple of new “debris” pieces which are made from found objects. The
one on the left is the newest, and is called “welcome to the public gallery”.
It’s made from some old frames that have been placed around other peoples
stencils, and is a look at how urban / street environment has become a public
gallery. And the other is called “vanity stop” It’s a hand held mirror with a
big nose on it and some devil horns on the top edge, and is a comment about how
society is obsessed with the way they look.

These are part of the second series of robots and rockets that I do. They’re
made from thick coloured paper and stuck to the wall with heavy duty double
sided tape. I just enjoy working with the simple shapes and seeing what I can
come up with.

These are my new little babies. I call them “Sarmies” and they’re paste ups.
I’ve also started working on giving them different identities, ie: spaceman
sarmie, clown sarmie, raver sarmie .... etc. Another thing I’ve been looking at
with them is adding them to billboards in a complimentary way as opposed to
destroying them. Sort of a subliminal billboard jam because in essense I have
change the billboard. Or maybe not.
The most important thing for me
to do this year is to revamp my bloody
href="http://www.psalm.com.au/">website. If I only do one more thing this
year it’ll definately be that. So I’m gonna tie the computer to my forehead and
not take it off until it’s done. When that’s done I’m going to have more fun on
the streets of course.
