Catchin Up On Our Trip To China: Shanghai and Adfunture

align="center">

While we were in Shanghai we had the great fortune of spending a few days with Eddi and Julia of Adfunture. If you aren’t yet familiar with Adfunture, you’ve probably seen many of their vinyl toys. In addition to the Fling The Monkey figure, Adfunture is the company behind Flying Fortress’ terrific “Teddy Troops”.

They’ve also just put out three new vinyl figures from Dave Kinsey.

In 2005 Adfunture will be releasing new vinyl toys from a range of amazing
artists including two of our favorites, JAKe and D*Face.

Exploring a
city like Shanghai is a terrific experience. But exploring a city like Shanghai
with Eddi and Julia is something that we’ll never forget. Eddi and Julia went
out of their way to make Shanghai come to life for us, and for that we’re very
greatful. “Hairy” crabs were in season while we where in Shanghai and Eddi and
Julia not only took us to the best restaurant in Shanghai for hairy crabs but on
our last day in China we took a three hour drive to Julia’s home town, Suzhou,
and had an amazing hairy crab lunch with her family.

More on Eddi,
Julia, and Shanghai in the coming days, but first here’s a few snaps from our
stay in Shanghai:
