Catchin’ Up On Our Reading

In the last few weeks there’s been a ton of new
art related magazines and zines that have launched.  Congratulations to both
PEELZine and Day in the Lyfe who recently launched their first issues. Here’s a
quick overview:

PEELzine is a
terrific little black-and-white zine that features work by many of the artists
who you often see on the Wooster site.  Issue 1 has art and from Geldz,
TwentyFive, Evoker, Implied Regurgitation, Ash Shahparnia, BOMIT, wRemote,
Visual Submission, Robots Will Kill, and Shepard Fairey. 

PEELzine2
will feature new work by DAve Warnke, ARRRGH!, WOOD one, James Wolanin (Give Em
Hell), MAGMO the Destroyer, ban comic sans, Mjar, and Abe Lincoln Jr.

/>DAY IN THE
LYFE
is a new graf art mag which looks at the scene from a global
perspective. Issue No. 1 is out now and features some terrific work from cities
all over the world.  Most impressive is a two page spead of murals from
Slovakia.
