Asylum Seeker Street Art Project

 

Peter Drew spent 8 months on this projet where he gathered 36 images by asylum seekers, blew them up then wheat pasted them throughout Adelaide's CBD in South Australia. Half of the images were smuggled out of the Inverbrackie Detention Centre, which is a medium security facility in the Aelaide Hills. Participants of the project range in nationalities including Afghanistan, Iran, Iraw, Somalia and Sri Lanka.
