“Mo-Town, Or
Motor-City” either way people know your talking about Detroit. I was warned
about the lack of life in Detroit. I’d read about the large “skeleton” like high
rise buildings in the immediate downtown that were completely hallowed out, and
boarded up windows. The city and sights are hard to describe simply because
there are no reference points to relate with. The only thing that can come to
mind is a scene from Batman when it shows Gotham city, tall, and dark. At night
when I was walking in the down town I literally saw only 2 people on the
streets. Traffic was minimal and the street lighting was absent. I can only
assume but not many people venture into that section of town at night. Very
unique in the fact that anything could go down in that vacant area and no one
would find out for days. ohhh spooky!”...Above
