ABOVE’S EUROPEAN TRAVELS, 2005. ZURICH, SWITZERLAND.

“Catching the train from Milan to Zurich was an interesting experience for two different reasons, First because of the large floods that were happening in Switzerland at that time. Most of the trains had to re-route because of the high waters flooding the train rails. I personally didn’t mind at all, I viewed the occasion as an opportunity to see more of the wet but beautiful Swiss countryside. The second part was the fact that in Switzerland it’s commonplace and legal for people to carry rifles and guns with them. In my train cabin there were a handful of young soldier looking kids in their late teens, early twenties with fully loaded rifles sitting next to them while they drank canned beers to kill time until the arrival into Zurich.

For better of for worse I only had 3 days to spend in Zurich as I needed to get to Barcelona later that week to fly up to Iceland to meet friends, and partake in a street expo.

I was grateful to be able to do some street works in Zurich, but not to the level or degree that I wanted to. None the less Zurich was very friendly, and hospitable.

I want to thank Cutmaster Fifi for The Sticker, and yogurt hookup: Remos One for your floor to sleep on, and Roman for the skateboard, hospitality and tour of Zurich!”

Overlapping Geometric forms and structures. Not my best can control or lines but had fun with the Tiger style blood effects on the red arrows.

Cantaloupe in Springtime with this print….weird associations of mine! The Composition of the fuchsia bar, and the weathered wood against the blue sky backdrop made my eyes happy.

A nice day for a bike ride.
