ABOVE’S EUROPEAN TRAVELS, 2005. BUDAPEST, HUNGARY.
Budapest has a reputation of being
“The Paris of Eastern Europe.” The city has an mixture of past, present, and
booming future seen in the streets and architecture. Budapest I soon learned
upon arrival is divided into two separate sections (Buda) and (Pest) by the 2nd
largest river in Europe, the Danube.
Budapest has a complex identity,
somewhere between Western luxury and simple traditions. There are around 2
million people that live inside the city which gives it a solid Cosmopolitan
feeling. Walking around Budapest it’s very clear that there are many street
activists putting their work up and exploring the structures of the city.

With the city’s laid back feeling and open streets, Budapest is destine
to grow into on of the larger hubs for artists around the world.

“ITS ABOUT
FAITH AND TRUST!!!
I am grateful that the kind people at Wooster Collective
allow me to share with you the viewer uncensored stories from along these
European Travels on their website. Along this wild ride around Europe I have
written and told stories as they happened in their true nature. As strange and
far out as some of these stories may seem I don’t make them up. However I am not
exaggerating when I say that you would not believe me, or the mysterious turn of
events that were involved in this roller piece. I tried explaining the story to
my friend C100 and he thought everything I told him was too unreal to actually
happen. I really cant blame him because I too am still having a hard time
believing how it all went down from start to finish. One of the strangest,
surreal painting experiences I’ve ever had!!! The photo is taken from Budapest’s
famous View point on top of the St. Peters Basilica.”src="http://www.woostercollective.com/images2/budapest6.jpg" />
“I’ll be
the first to admit that these letters will not win any style points that for
sure, but despite the surreal circumstances I’m glad I could even get paint on
the fresh wall.”src="http://www.woostercollective.com/images2/budapest2.jpg" />
“Bridging
the divide between Buda and Pest. No toll fee for this one.”
I
want to thank Killer Kilion for your hospitality, and making Budapest such a
wild ride!
