From href="http://www.GOABOVE.com">STL’s Gateway Arch is something from another
world. The architecture and magnitude of the structure is something that your
see only in a designers notebook, not in the physical. Standing under the Arch
the illusion of depth perception is interesting as the metal structure is going
up, and over the back of your head, then down again in front of you 300 feet is
away. Call it crazy, but while standing underneath the Arch I started to imagine
a mobile hanging from the very top. It’s the effort that really counts, so I
tried 3 times later that night, only needed another 200+ feet and I would of
hung it. I need longer arms!”
