city to city on the site to keep things fresh. here we go…

/>“Toronto, city #5.

Toronto a.k.a. “Hog-Town” and “T-dot” was the
city that almost wasn’t! After getting denied TWICE at the Canadian border in
Blaine, Washington the week before, trying to get into Vancouver to hang mobiles.
This time crossing outside of Detroit proved to be worth all the hassle of court
documents and plea bargains. I was barely able to cross into Canada by a slim
vote of 2/1. I won’t get into it in detail but a 5 year old graffiti charge was
denying me into Vancouver, and now possibly into Toronto. With the court paper
work in hand and over an hour of talking to the Canadian Customs pleading, and
begging they granted me into Canada for a maximum of 5 days. It was now full
speed ahead to Toronto! The drive there reminded me of the French countryside,
real Green and lush. I rolled into Toronto and was impressed with the amount of
great graffiti, and street actions in the city. Those Toronto kids have got the
best roller pieces I have EVER seen. 5+ full color roller pieces in spots almost
impossible to do in reach and size. I don’t know any of these kids but must give
respect to the crew HYH, and Trik as they had almost every block on lock down!
Great to see a city so alive. Toronto is a clean city with many nice outgoing
people to talk with. The C.N. Tower is an unique structure, while Queen St. is a
must not miss for any street junkie! Great pieces that have been running for
years. Go to Toronto!!!!”
