Shit We’re Diggin’: Words by Ripo

We love how Ripo plays with site-specific language to create clever outdoor pieces:

In Ripo's words, "The House of Representatives have shut down the US Government. This House has also been Shut Down."

This piece is titled, "Life isn't always sink or swim."
Painted in collaboration with JCHM IX in Tudela de Navarra, Spain

This piece in an abandoned space in Montagat, Spain is titled "Anyway You Cut It."  Ripo explains, "The roofs, walls, and floors of this abandoned factory continue to collapse in on themselves as their support system gets cut away for scrap metal. I made my own cuts to add rather than take away from this forgotten place."

Ripo says, "This one speaks as much about the detritus and state of the space as about a hard life situation I was going through at the time."
