Meanwhile 2 - An Explanation
"This piece is at a concrete ditch in London that is called Meanwhile 2. Situated in West London under a huge concrete flyover called the Westway (that the Clash sung about often) it was a home to London skaters throughout the dark ages of skateboarding and continues a favourite spot in the city The original photo (c.1987) is of a competition called Smell of Death that were punk skate events put on by a London based American called Steve Wiltshire It's a tribute to him and the people around at the time and their DIY attitude"...
