iminentdisaster has launched a new series of wheatpastes put together for the covers of powerboxes on NYC streets. The concept is to play off the polemic problem of the the lack of basic public services for people who can't afford them. iminentdisaster's point is that the powerboxes are a free "hackable" sources of power, juxtaposed against absurd and idealistic 1950's vintage style product ads.
