Nam June Paik (1932-2006)

Nam June Paik's influence has effected the work of many of the artists featured each week on the Wooster site . Known as the founder of video art, Pail changed the definition of "what art is". While his art wasn't for everyone (so many people we know hated it) those who did connect with it (including us) were forever changed.

We were saddened to hear that Paik died earlier this week. If you don't know much about him or the work iteself, be sure to check out the official Nam June Paik website so that you can understand the massive impact that he had.
