Seen on the Streets of the Gowanus
Oilbar, charcoal and dried flowers on bond paper by street artist ELBOW- TOE. The text on the white oilbar is a haiku by the japanese haiku master Issa. It reads as follows:
In this world
we walk on the roof of hell,
gazing at flowers
