Broken Wood Cancelled At CPOP
Well sadly after months and months of planning, and an amazing line-up of artists from around the world, we recently decided to cancel our show next month in Detroit at the CPOP Gallery. It's an incredible shame, as the show itself was going to be kick ass and the pieces created for it were wonderful. But with the rumors of CPOP's impending closure, and too many stories of artists not getting paid, it's not worth the risk of having a fantastic show ruined by events out of our control. So to everyone who has sent us posters and stickers for the collaborative wall, we're working on another venue for it so hold tight. And if you're a gallery with some slots open in 2005 and would like to talk about a Wooster Collective curated show, let us know as we'd love to find some good partners as we plot our our projects for next year. Again, sorry for this late notice. We're bummed, but better to protect things now then deal with the negative side later.Posted by marc at 8:09 AM in | Recommend this! |
