stupid old comics, Graffiti, Voltron, Ultra 7, junk, Donald Trump, Specter Man, Native American Totem Poles, Chinese Opera, toys, Persian calligraphy, celestial maps. U.F.O's.

Daniel Johnston, Jack Kirby, Barry McGee, The Beach Boys, Mr. , Henry Darger, Donovan, Osamu Tezuka, Philip Guston, Karl Wirsum, Herman Melville, Robert Louis Stevenson.

How would you describe your art to someone who could not see it?

Friendly.

I would like to be able to play the harp.

When my girlfriend gives me a dutch-oven.
