Catchin' Up On Our Viewing.... Subaquatica's ATLANTIS PHASE 1

Last night we finally had a chance to check out Subaquatica's new DVD+CD, ATLANTIS PHASE 1. The disc, produced by the Madrid based arts organization Subaquatica, showcases the work of a terrific group of Spanish artists - Nano 4814, El Tono y Nuria, Sixe, Freaklub, Skum, Los del Cartel, JR, ONG, and FAQ. Each artist is shown on the streets as they are putting their stuff up. A lack of both interviews and narration keeps the mystery and mystique of the artist in tact. The music, by SuperEgo, sets a mood that as you watch the DVD you began to feel like you're actually out there with the artists on the streets of Spain in the middle of the night. It's simple but extremely effective. We liked the DVD and the companion CD soundtrack a lot.
