Catchin' Up With... Chimp

"It's amazing what you can get away with. Armed only with a forged letter from our local council and a stack of paint, Ichi Bunny, Kabe and me hit up a small building that backs onto a park near my flat in East London. We spent 12 hours in the sunshine turning an ugly, tagged up eye sore into a strange world of weirdness. Kids came and hung out while we painted, playing tunes to us on recorders and painting on pieces of wood we'd found, many neighbours came by, offered us cups of tea and gave us praise for our work, and we finished off the day by inviting friends to come drink a beer with us and check out a hard, but enjoyable, days work (painting on bricks sucks if you're not using spray cans!!)

So get out there and make your neighbourhood a prettier place, and put a smile on someones face... coz if us artists don't, nobody else will. The streets are ours!"...CHIMP
