- First off thanks for all the love and support to everyone who came out to my show at GR2 in Los Angeles, that was fun. I'm beginning to enjoy my trips out to southern California more and more, and I think that's because all you fuckers that
said, you would never move to L.A. especially all the east coast cats all live here now. Haha. Eric at GIANT ROBOT put out a dope shirt with a drawing of all my bikes and a new book full of drawings and writings and scribbles called CURSIV, get it from me or at GIANTROBOT.COM (everyone who already got CURSIV and wants to keep arguing with me about my band member choices for supergroup, I'm not listening, start your own shit.)
- Bruised fruit- SOLD OUT!!! Thank you thank you thank you to everyone who bought a copy and told someone else about it. This second self published effort was my bread and butter for the better part of last year and part of this one. I lived off that book during sketchy times. SLOW JAMS is sold out and pops up on ebay from time to time(going price 40 to 80 dollars) so I'm a little smarter this time and kept a few boxes back. You will still be able to get this book from me at my art shows and conventions. The only stores and distributors that I know that still have copies left are GIANT ROBOT, LAST GASP, and TOWER RECORDS. All you fuckers rock, that was fun ride. Lets do it again soon.
- San jose has me fucking working out here, mural projects and lots of live painting demonstrations , PACIFIC ART COLLECTIVE will have me doing live paintings all night this SATURDAY JUNE 28TH at 5 color cowboy 1445 the alameda 6 2 am. Lots of music, free haircuts, free massage, book exchange, and their gonna auction off the art work at the end of the night, so those of you who been complaining how expensive the paintings have gotten, here's your chance. Just being in a city that is known as a tech industry and doesn't have much to offer culturally, is connecting me with cool people in other cities that are in my same predicament, but you make your own scene, your own movement , you blow your own shit up. You hear me?
- My friends turo, sam and mel at FRIENDS WITH YOU- Tell me there ain't shit going down in MIAMI, except thongs and tan lines, They make the sickest stuffed animals, a lot of it similar to stuff in my sketchbooks, so a collaboration just seemed natural, we're on the same page, look for humongus life sized, chooped up whale sashimi and other madness, in the near future. - Raeses Skateboarding out in Chi-town is starting up a new skate mag, don't know when I t hits, but look out for it, and a layout by me of FALCO.
- these guys are from texas , and just got back touring the u.s. with their debut issue of ART PROSTITUTE. One of the best new publications I've seen in awhile, solid writing, great design, it'sgot heart, these guys are in it for the right reasons, first issue has Evan Hecox, the next issue will have a huge release party on 7-12-03 at SIXSPACE in downtown Los Angeles SIXSPACE.COM issue two will feature Shepard Fairey

-Noah down In L.A. is starting up a new magazine called LIT. they ended up using my art for the cover, don't know when it hits, but the second issue after will be the KOREATOWN issue, I can't wait.
-THE VICE GUIDE TO SEX,DRUGS AND ROCK AND ROLL is still available at VICELAND.COM it is a good read, more than just a compilation of the magazines' best articles over the past decade. It is more than just 11 deaths, 4 sex guides (including anal sex and eating pussy), 100 DOs and DON'Ts (including a dozen by Joe Strummer), 32 Terry Richardson nudes, 35 Ryan McGinley Polaroids of shoplifters, look for my Poron collage ninja stars.etc It is a 300 page record of the most outrageous

I know it's already june, but calendars get pulled from the shelves after January, and my calendar hit late in December so I been getting some boxes of calendars back, so if you want one their 12 their packed with lots of art and writing, and some people really really love them from what I hear, and some people want to see me dead. So you should get one
-T he first female ass I ever felt was a porcelin mannequin , and one of my childhood fantasy movies was mannequin 1 and 2 , so I t would make sense that I design mannequins right. Some will be ultra sexy and others will be just plain crazy, I'm working together With Superstar mannequin makers PATINA-V , on this project, so look for customized mannequins in upcoming shows, and strange ones at your local department stores.
Next year I think I'm gonna kick back on the art shows , and focus harder on publishing and other fucked up projects, but in the mean time look out for three more solo shows on the west coast 111 minna in San Francisco in September Kantor gallery in Los Angeles in Febuary maybe something with Kantor in new york in september. A solo show in association with Michael Burns and Gaggosian Gallery , In Los Angeles ,no Gallery or date set as of yet. I been representing west coast so hard for the last three years , whats up east coast? Everyone who's been writing me from new york and ask why I never show out there? You have to invite me first. And have it be a decent spot,I don't want to show at a soho deli-cafe. Fuck this I'm just gonna show up, fuck it, look for me on the steet..
- The new Toyota SCION is out on the road, they been having a lot of artists draw on these things to promote it , like Jordan Crane, AXIS, MINER, Kent parker, MEAR, me. Check SCION.com to see when they roll through your town, they have lots of cool free shit at their events, look for my me or my partner to be painting on one of their cars at the SPRITE REMIX TOUR in santa Barbara on August 21st.maybe.

- The new Kramers Ergot compilation took it to the next level, it's as thick As a phonebook and costs only 25 dollars, full color beautiful art and comics by Sammy Harkham , souther Salazaar and a bunch of other
people.
- the superman stories by mark russel, puts me on the floor every time I read it. Everyone that comes to my house tries to steal it. This guy is a talented writer, he writes all kinds of zines and shit, but this one on particular(I'm pretty sure he didn't get permission from DC) is funny and realistic portrayal of what superman must go through everyday. - davy rothbart who does found magazine, turns out is also a very talented writer if you haven't seen Found Magazine yet it's off the hook, it's just what is says, all kinds of shit people found and sent in, it makes you happy, sad, proud, and pathetic . go get it, FOUNDMAGAZINE.COM and read his tremendous short stories in his book The Lone Surfer of Montana
